Job description

Travel NICU RN – Neonatal Intensive Care

Schedule: Ratios: 2:1 (days, nights, weekends) Orientation: 24 hours Block scheduling available (can work 3+ shifts in a row) Weekend coverage: intermittent; managers work with travelers to accommodate requests

Assignment Details: Contract Length: Not specified Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements: Minimum 3 years NICU experience At least 3 years in a Level III NICU or 2 years in a Level IV NICU BLS and NRP certifications required Experience with neonatal dosage calculations and preterm infants Familiarity with common therapies and equipment used in a NICU setting

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in a NICU setting Manage ventilator support and oxygen therapy Administer blood and blood products as needed Participate in high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries Care for central lines and IV access Support feeding tube placement and management
