Job Title: Marketing Manager, Prospect Segment Location-Type: Hybrid (Owings Mills, MD – 4 Days Onsite, Fridays Remote) Start Date Is: ASAP (Target Start: 8/17) Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential Extension/Conversion) Compensation Range: $45/hr – $52/hr W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Job Description:

Seeking a Marketing Manager, Prospect Segment to support acquisition-focused marketing initiatives by owning audience strategy, messaging, offer development, and lead nurture programs. This individual will serve as the business owner for prospect marketing campaigns, partnering closely with the Global Brand and Paid Media teams to ensure campaigns align with business objectives and drive measurable conversion outcomes.

This is not a hands-on paid media role. Instead, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in audience segmentation, full-funnel marketing strategy, analytics, and cross-functional campaign leadership.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize target audiences for prospect acquisition and conversion campaigns
  • Develop audience-specific messaging and offer strategies to improve engagement and conversion
  • Partner with Global Brand and Paid Media teams by providing audience insights, messaging direction, and campaign feedback
  • Own lead nurture strategy across the customer journey to move prospects through the marketing funnel
  • Manage and prioritize marketing investments of $5M while tracking campaign performance and ROI
  • Analyze campaign performance, customer insights, and business outcomes to optimize future marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with Creative teams to ensure campaign assets align with audience needs and messaging strategy
  • Work closely with analytics and cross-functional marketing partners to support campaign planning and execution
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics including conversion rates, pipeline growth, and marketing effectiveness

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of marketing experience with a stable employment history
  • Experience owning audience segmentation, messaging strategy, and offer development for acquisition or conversion-focused marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing, including awareness, consideration, conversion, and lead nurture strategies
  • Experience partnering with paid media teams while owning business strategy (not hands-on media buying or campaign execution)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate campaign performance and customer insights into business recommendations
  • Experience managing marketing budgets of $5M
  • Experience working with Adobe marketing platforms (Adobe Campaign, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Analytics, or similar Adobe solutions)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across marketing, analytics, creative, and business teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting acquisition, lifecycle, customer, segment, or growth marketing initiatives
  • Experience developing customer personas, audience segmentation, and lead nurture strategies
  • Experience working within enterprise or matrixed organizations
  • Financial services, asset management, B2B, or other highly regulated industry experience is a plus
  • Collaborative, positive, and confident communicator who builds trust quickly and thrives in a team-oriented environment
