Job Overview:
Prosegur Security is hiring a reliable, experienced, Security Shift Supervisor. The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Supervise a team of Security Officers on designated shift.
  • Oversee day to day site operations. (i.e. reviewing daily reports)
  • Performance management
  • Responsible for training, coaching, and counseling of staff.
  • Maintain a strong visible presence among visitors, patrons, and employees to enforce order and protect property.
  • Conduct regular foot patrols and surveillance of industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
  • Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, promptly responding to emergency situations and providing security assistance as required.
  • Prepare detailed narrative reports and oversee the maintenance of daily activity reports (DARs).
  • Monitor and report irregular or unusual activity, implementing appropriate measures to address any identified risks.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare comprehensive reports.

Qualifications:
  • Required minimum 2 years of Security Supervisor experience.
  • Must have State Guard License
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proficient computer skills are required (Microsoft Word, Excel)
  • Must possess reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the ability to effectively motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to make clear decisions during crisis or high-stress periods.
  • May be exposed to high levels of noise or variations in weather and temperature.
  • Must be reliable, demonstrate a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.
