The Security Team Lead helps create a safe and welcoming environment by leading the Security team with a service-oriented approach. This role conducts pre-shift briefings, oversees security operations during the shift, and partners with leadership to ensure all safety and security protocols are executed effectively.
Responsibilities:
  • Bring the Pillars of Service (Connected, Optimistic, Service Oriented, and Memorable) to life through team and fan (guests) interactions
  • Lead and supervise the Security team, providing training, guidance, and daily support
  • Assign team members to posts and ensure proper coverage throughout shifts
  • Foster a connected, optimistic, and service-oriented team environment
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Act as a liaison with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, and venue assets
  • Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Lead emergency response and evacuation procedures when necessary
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of guests, employees, and vendors
  • Enforce company policies and prevent unauthorized access or prohibited items
  • Address rule violations and handle situations professionally and calmly
  • Patrol premises, monitor video, alarms, and security systems
  • Complete incident reports and daily activity reports accurately and timely
  • Document irregularities such as property damage, theft, or unusual incidents
  • Ensure all security equipment is functioning and report maintenance needs
  • Verify identification and support responsible alcohol service compliance
  • Maintain a visible, welcoming, and professional presence throughout the venue
  • Support a safe, secure, and memorable guest experience
  • Interact with guests and team members in an optimistic and service-oriented manner
  • Help create an environment where fans (guests) feel both safe and welcome
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform all essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, while adhering to all company policies and procedures outlined in training materials and the employee handbook

Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Must possess a valid security license/registration as required by applicable state and local laws (e.g., Guard Card where required).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required alcohol service certification in accordance with state and local regulations within a specified timeframe.
  • Preferred Security/Law Enforcement experience.
  • Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
  • A strong sense of teamwork and hospitality forward mindset
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ pounds and occasional sitting.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
