Job description

Company Description

The Travel Division is a high-end luxury travel agency, working alongside our sister company Air Charter Service, to ensure that their charter customers have exclusive access to a range of ancillary products, including luxury hotels, premium cabin flights, and top-of-the-range villas & yachts. Our business is all about service, and we will always go the extra mile to ensure that the time spent at the destination is as seamlessly organised and memorable as the time spent onboard one of our charter flights.

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader with a strong background in travel sales and client management, combined with proven leadership experience. This is a unique opportunity to build and grow a luxury travel consulting team from the ground up. You will initially operate as a senior individual contributor-driving revenue, managing high-value, and delivering exceptional service-while helping shape processes and support the hiring and development of future team members.

Job Description

Working within The Travel Division

  • Building and developing a luxury travel consulting function from the ground up, in line with business growth plans
  • Managing a portfolio of high-value clients, including private aviation customers, delivering a seamless end-to-end luxury experience
  • Handling a mix of inbound, outbound, and referral-based leads to generate new business and build a strong base of repeat clients
  • Driving business development through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building
  • Demonstrating expert knowledge of global travel products and delivering tailored recommendations to clients
  • Managing travel bookings from enquiry to completion, ensuring accuracy and exceptional service delivery
  • Supporting the recruitment and development of new travel consultants as the team expands
  • Acting as a senior point of contact for complex bookings, VIP requests, and escalations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Working towards & exceeding daily, monthly & annual goals linked to both productivity and financial targets, and being able to collaborate, work as part of a team, and contribute towards a wider group collective.
  • Following company procedure in a methodical and chronological way to ensure protection of both TTD and your clients.
  • Working productively in what can sometimes be a pressurised environment, and making prompt, clear decisions which may involve tough choices or considered risks.
  • Maintaining a "Customer First" attitude and taking full ownership of our customers in-destination experience, which may involve working outside of regular hours to ensure all customer trips run successfully.
  • Representing the business at industry events, supplier meetings, and client engagements
Qualifications

The Successful candidate for this role will have:

  • A high aptitude and passion for sales, with previous experience of lead sourcing, cold calling & direct selling preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability and ambition to build and lead a team
  • Very clear written & verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English, as well as strong numeracy skills, are a requirement.
  • A keen interest in major global destinations, travel products & in progressing a career within the Travel Industry.
  • An organised & disciplined attitude towards workload and time management, balancing multiple factors at any one time, is very important.
  • A willingness to commit to the demands of the role - including (where necessary) working outside of regular working hours to get the job done.
  • Ability to work independently, but also able to collaborate with people inside and outside of both The Travel Division and the wider parent company.
  • Somebody who enjoys working to both individual and team goals / objectives, within in a friendly and competitive environment.
