Schedule: Monday - Friday | Primarily On-Site with Local Travel to Customer Sites
Compensation: $34 to $38 per hour (commensurate with experience)

About the Opportunity

Our client is a recognized leader in the electronic security and integrated systems industry and is seeking an experienced Security Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of commercial security projects from kickoff through completion.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in electronic security, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and low-voltage systems who enjoys leading projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with customers, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and internal leadership to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.


Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple commercial electronic security projects simultaneously from award through closeout. 
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and implementation strategies. 
  • Coordinate internal teams, field technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution. 
  • Maintain ownership of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, labor utilization, and profitability. 
  • Track project milestones and proactively identify and resolve schedule, material, or labor challenges. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and provide regular updates to customers and internal leadership. 
  • Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders. 
  • Coordinate procurement of equipment and ensure materials are available when needed. 
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, closeout packages, and customer acceptance. 
  • Ensure all work complies with customer requirements, company standards, and applicable codes. 
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

QualificationsRequired
  • 5+ years of project management experience within the electronic security, low-voltage, structured cabling, or systems integration industry. 
  • Experience managing commercial projects involving: 
    • Access Control 
    • Video Surveillance (CCTV) 
    • Intrusion Detection 
    • Integrated Security Systems 
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, labor, and customer expectations. 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 
  • Experience coordinating technicians, subcontractors, and vendors. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software. 
Preferred
  • Experience with enterprise security platforms such as: 
    • LenelS2 
    • Genetec 
    • Software House CCURE 
    • Avigilon 
    • Milestone 
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training. 
  • Experience working with enterprise customers. 
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or construction drawings. 
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling and low-voltage installation practices.
