Purpose
The Fire & Security Sales & Project Manager plays a key role in leading both the sales and project execution efforts within our Fire & Security division. This role is responsible for driving new business through estimating and quoting, while also ensuring projects are delivered successfully from kickoff through completion.
This position supports and develops a team of project coordinators and technicians, helping to create a strong, collaborative environment focused on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions
Sales & Estimating
  • Prepare accurate and timely take-offs, estimates, and proposals for fire alarm and security system projects
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and bid documents to develop competitive and complete quotes
  • Partner with customers, contractors, and internal teams to clarify scope and ensure alignment
  • Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities and building strong client relationships

Project Management & Execution
  • Oversee projects from award through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met
  • Coordinate resources, schedules, and materials to support successful project delivery
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges to keep work moving forward
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company expectations

Team Leadership
  • Lead, support, and develop project coordinators and technicians within the division
  • Provide guidance on project execution, prioritization, and problem-solving
  • Foster a team environment focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Assist with workload planning and resource allocation across projects

Customer & Operational Support
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
