Qualifications

Essential Functions / Responsibilitiesย 

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensureย timelyย response to incidents, alarms, notifications, and calls for service on their relevant shift.ย 

  • Ensure all forms of communication, such as emails, phone conversations, and personal interactions, are conducted in a confidential, courteous, and professional manner and documented appropriately.ย 

  • Maintain knowledge of GSOC-specific standard operating procedures.ย 

  • Manage life-safety, alarm, communications, reporting, video management, and access control functions at designated locations.ย 

  • Investigate and respond to alarms promptly.ย 

  • Evaluate and process information received from all available sources and respond withย appropriate communicationย and dispatch procedures.ย 

  • Communicate security issues or emergencies by escalating information to department leadership, local law enforcement, emergency services, such as EMT, fire departments, etc.ย 

  • Participates regularly in security/safety training programs to stay current on critical GSOC responsibilities and competencies inclusive of drills and tabletop exercises.ย 

  • Other duties as assigned.ย

Work Environment/Physical Requirementsย 

This position is moderately self-directed and requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position works in an on-site office environmentย utilizingย a computer and standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employeeย is regularly required toย interact collaboratively with the team and stakeholders, and communicate via phone, radio, videophone, or text messaging. The employee mayย be requiredย to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The position may requireย travel up to 5%.ย
