Job description

Position Summary:
(SECURITY OFFICER) Under general supervision and direction of the Security Supervisor, Security Manager and/or Director of Security, ensures the safety and protection of NNGE properties patrons, employees, and assets in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information. (SECURITY SUPERVISOR) Under general direction of the Security Shift Supervisor, Security Manager and/or Director of Security, oversees the security officers and ensures the safety and protection of casino patrons, employees, and assets in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information.
Minimum Qualifications:
(SECURITY OFFICER) High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) months of security experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to type a minimum of 20 words per minute (wpm). Valid driver's license. Must meet all knowledge, skills and abilities. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a preemployment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. Navajo preference. (SECURITY SUPERVISOR) High School Diploma or GED plus one year of security experience plus one year experience as a supervisor or in a leadership or decision making role within a team environment. Valid State Driver's License with a clean driving record. Must meet all knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license. Navajo preference.
