Job description

The Elisity Deployment Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end onboarding of Elisity's identity-based microsegmentation platform onto enterprise network infrastructure. This role works closely with network, security, and IT operations teams to identify target switches, deploy validated configurations, confirm traffic visibility within the Elisity Cloud Controller (CCC), and support device grouping and policy implementation. Key Responsibilities: Switch Identification & Scoping * Inventory and evaluate enterprise switches for Elisity deployment * Validate switch compatibility, operating systems, and platform requirements * Develop deployment prioritization and rollout plans Configuration & Change Management * Create and submit change requests for Elisity-related configurations * Enable technologies such as 802.1X, RADIUS, AAA, and related security controls * Execute approved changes during maintenance windows * Develop rollback procedures and support change governance processes Traffic Validation * Verify traffic telemetry is successfully reaching the Elisity Cloud Controller (CCC) * Troubleshoot switch-to-controller connectivity issues * Validate endpoint visibility and identity resolution after deployment Device Grouping & Policy Support * Assist with device categorization and grouping within the Elisity platform * Apply tags, labels, and segmentation policies * Support the development and refinement of microsegmentation policies based on observed traffic patterns Required Qualifications: * 3+ years of network engineering or network security experience * Hands-on experience with enterprise switching platforms (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, or equivalent) * Knowledge of 802.1X, RADIUS/AAA, and NAC concepts * Experience working within structured change management environments * Strong Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting skills Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Elisity or similar platforms (Cisco ISE, Forescout, etc.) * Understanding of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) * CCNP Security or equivalent certification * Network automation experience (Python, Ansible, etc.)
