Primary Purpose:
The Camera Technician (Security) will be responsible for performing skilled and specialized work in the installation, maintenance, and operation of all security video systems (CCTVs) throughout the entire theme park location.
What you get to do:

  • Responsible for all CCTV installation and repairs throughout the parks.
  • Performs computer program entry as required to add closed circuit television cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems as needed.
  • Controls and maintains all CCTV and adequate supply of hardware for ongoing repairs.
  • Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items.
  • Transports a variety of items (e.g., tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at job site.
  • Consistently practices safe work habits including but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting, and reporting of unsafe situations.
  • Maintains a computer inventory record of all CCTVs in use throughout the park indicating the purpose and location.
  • Works with security management regarding new systems and requirements.
  • Ensures that all technical equipment and tools are kept clean and maintained to operating standards on an ongoing and scheduled basis.
  • Conducts on-site video surveillance as directed by management.
  • Collaborates with internal and external customer departments and Work directly with Law *Enforcement agencies on various cases on an as needed basis.
  • Prepare documentation in a variety of written and electronic formats (e.g. daily paperwork/log, material records, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information.
  • Assists Security Investigators as needed with ongoing Investigations to include writing and completing reports to management.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


What it takes to succeed:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain a SEA company driver's license.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of operating and maintaining audio visual systems to include working knowledge of camera installation processes from the point of installation to the recording device to include all aspects of data transmission over fiber optics, network, coax and twisted pair.
  • Must have knowledge of basic electronics and working knowledge of fiber optics.
  • Must be able to perform upgrades and additions to systems in order to increase functionality and usability.
  • Must collaborate with various departments to formulate a plan for cameras/alarms for new construction that meets company standards.
  • Must be able to sit, stand and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift, push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must be able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service.
  • Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting, and reporting of unsafe situations.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and guest service skills.
  • Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from Leadership.
  • Must be able to read and write English in order to write weekly reports.
  • Must be willing to comply with and ensure team members comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
  • Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
