Job Purpose
This is a full-time, salaried position that requires regular travel to various onsite locations with the use of a company vehicle. In your role as a truck camera repair technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining vehicle cameras and related electronic monitoring systems. You will provide troubleshooting to diagnose technical issues for our fleet of commercial vehicles
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Travel to different locations including truck yards and transfer stations throughout MI and occasionally OH and IN
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace cameras and monitoring systems under the direction of the maintenance department
  • Work independently and ensure all tasks are completed within a timely manner with limited supervision
  • Daily use of technology including Microsoft Office Suite, 3rd Eye Digital Platform, and company provided tablet
  • Utilize personal smart phone to receive dispatch calls and provide updates and photo or video documentation to appropriate team members

The successful candidate profile includes:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis including weekends as needed
  • Ability to work core business hours of 2pm-11pm
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of electronic systems, particularly vehicle cameras such as dash and external cameras and other vehicle monitoring devices
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and complete physically demanding work
