Job description

Piper Companies is hiring a Security Specialist for a leading world wide tech organization located in RTP, NC. The Security Specialist will need to have an active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility, and will need to work on site in RTP, NC 5 days per week. Responsibilities of the Security Specialist: * Support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Assistant Facility Security Officers (AFSOs)
* Initiate and process security clearances
* Perform indoctrinations and program briefings
* Act as security administrators for the program
* Provide personnel escort for ICD build enhancements (existing and new spaces)
Requirements of the Security Specialist: * Active TS with SCI Eligibility
* Open to candidates transitioning from physical security to industrial security or those with some industrial security exposure
* Experience processing clearances in DISS or experience working with an AFSO is preferred
* Availability to work onsite in RTP 5 days a week
Compensation for the Security Specialist: * $80,000 - $105,000
* Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and sick leave if required by law
