In order to capitalize on our success and continued growth plans we are seeking a Cyber Security Architect.  

As a member of the information security team, this role will directly contribute to the success of the program and ultimately the company as a whole.  The role will also have an opportunity to work with subject matter experts not only within security, but across infrastructure, network, development, and business teams.

We look to hire people who are comfortable in working with minimal supervision as part of a team that has consistently delivered ground-breaking and innovative solutions in one of the most exciting and fast-moving areas of the of the financial markets. We need people who are able to prioritize and can effectively articulate complex issues to technical and non-technical team members. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and be a security thought leader and support a line of business within Tradeweb
  • Promote strategic direction and influence security architecture adoption in product strategy and roadmap
  • Drive adoption towards secure design and architecture patterns
  • Drive cyber risk decisions and foster a strong technology and cyber risk management culture throughout the enterprise.
  • Perform end-end security architecture reviews 
  • Help prioritize remediation efforts of security vulnerabilities in applications, systems, and architecture
  • Provide assistance and support to teams in developing and implementing remediation strategies for code and system vulnerabilities
  • Help develop security blueprints and security assertion templates
  • Develop and maintain deep business knowledge
  • Build strong relationships with technology, risk and compliance teams 
  • Interface with external regulators, internal and external audit teams, and clients to explain security risks and controls

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or Engineering
  • 10+ years of information security experience
  • 5+ years of security architect or security partner experience
  • Wide range of technical experience across multiple Cyber Security domains
  • Strong knowledge of security architecture patterns, requirements, and security controls
  • Strong knowledge of threat modeling frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience in conducting secure code reviews
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical and non-technical concepts in verbal products & excellent writing skills
  • Knowledge of key legal and regulatory compliance, e.g. GDPR, RegSCI
  • Knowledge of common frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, ISO
  • Financial services experience, or experience in the financial technology ('FinTech') area is preferable
  • Industry certifications from vendors: ISA, SANS, CompTIA or eLearn Security is a plus
