YOUR IMPACT 

The Loan Data Quality team is seeking a motivated professional to support loan product data set up & maintenance. We seek team orientated candidates who can demonstrate excellent analytical skills & document review skills with the ability to manage competing tasks in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Team members are expected to be able to consistently deliver day-to-day execution as well as contribute to strategic organizational goals.

OUR IMPACT

Global Banking & Market Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted area that partners with all parts of the firm to facilitate banking & financing capabilities to clients around the world. In addition, GBM Operations provide essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. The Loan Data Quality team is responsible for ongoing management of loan product data and regulatory reporting functions. Daily interactions with key stakeholders such as Bankers, Legal, Credit, Risk and Technology are crucial to the role to ensure timely and effective risk management & client service.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL 

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the bank loan business and understanding loan structures
  • Leverage your quantitative skills to decompose complex loan structures and enable timely risk booking
  • Assume accountability and ownership of complex situations, offering own expertise to influence outcomes
  • Risk Management - Partner with regional management team to provide effective oversight of key loan product data attributes
  • Day-to-day issue resolution through effective time management, prioritization, multi-tasking and partnership with all teams/divisions
  • Continually adapt to changes in the business, markets and regulatory environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks associated with bespoke workflows
  • Showcase your ability to function as a team player in a highly collaborative environment while working closely with internal and external stakeholders such as Business Groups, Reporting Controllers, Risk, Technology and Operations Leadership
  • Grow with the team - develop a deeper understanding of complex transactions & work with business partners on organizational goals
  • Collaborate with global team counterparts on business support fostering a global loan support model
  • Contribute to firm's transformation/strategic initiatives with keen sense of automation & process re-engineering
  • Support MIS reporting, including key risk indicators, trends and milestones of the team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR -

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a finance related field preferred
  • Minimum experience of 3 years in syndicated loan / institutional lending operations & total experience of 4 - 7 years
  • Proven analytical skills & document review skills with prompt-writing as an added advantage
  • Problem solving ability and a risk-control mindset paired with meticulous attention to detail
  • Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal clients with differing levels of product experience
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure within a team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Financial or quantitative educational background
  • Understanding of Syndicated Loan Operations
  • Experience in AI prompt writing/developing business requirements/rules for automation
