Job description

Position Summary
Coordinates and oversees functions assigned to the Card Operations Associates, ensuring accurate completion of card processing and member services functions. Ensures adherence to regulations and established internal security measures. Researches, analyzes, and performs back-office functions to prevent, resolve, and mitigate fraudulent card and ATM activity. Provides general training to Card Operations Associates. Compiles data and enters statistics, performs assigned posting and balancing duties, and various card processing functions as required. Performs related clerical and balancing duties as required. Understands all card processing functions and provides assistance as needed. Professionally serves members and vendors, providing phone and email support for various departments and members, including troubleshooting card denials, instant issue production, ATM machines, and card disputes. Assists with planning, evaluating, and administering card operations and functions.
Qualifications/Experience
  • 2-4 years of related experience in Card Operations.
  • Knowledge of ATMs and card processing procedures and requirements.
  • Ability to analyze transaction data; determine probability of fraud; and take appropriate action to mitigate fraud losses.
  • Familiarity with related accounting procedures.
  • Able to use 10-key, PC, telephone, card machine, and all related business equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Independently handle a variety of responsibilities simultaneously and be able to prioritize those tasks.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to assist and train department staff.
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to effectively utilize multiple software systems.
  • High school graduate or equivalent; college coursework in business or finance preferred.

Salary Range
  • Minimum - $43,316
  • Maximum - $60,642
