Control, the brilliant mind behind SafeHouse-Milwaukee's covert headquarters for spies and agents since 1966-is recruiting a skilled and mission-driven Cook to join our elite culinary unit. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in precision, and have a passion for delivering exceptional dishes, this is your assignment-should you choose to accept it.
Behind our hidden red door lies a world of espionage-inspired dining, complete with secret passages, two-way mirrors, and global intrigue. But every successful operation depends on flawless execution behind the scenes. As a SafeHouse Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items, maintaining strict food safety standards, and ensuring every plate meets mission-level excellence.
Your Mission Objectives:
  • Prepare all station-specific food items according to standard recipes and guest specifications-precision and consistency are key to success.
  • Inspect and select only the highest-quality ingredients to ensure every dish meets operational standards.
  • Maintain proper food storage, portion control, and organization of all kitchen products, including stocks and sauces.
  • Keep all workstations, refrigeration units, and kitchen areas clean, sanitized, and compliant with health regulations.
  • Set up, maintain, and break down your station with efficiency-always ready for the next wave of orders.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, ensuring everything is in proper working condition.
  • Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality-every plate is part of the guest experience.
  • Assist with inventory, requisitions, and proper storage of food items after service.
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and hygiene protocols-no shortcuts on this mission.
  • Remain flexible and ready to assist with additional culinary tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For in a Culinary Operative:
  • 1-2 years of cooking experience in a similar high-volume kitchen environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented mindset-success depends on collaboration and communication.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and work in hot and cold environments.
  • Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
  • Culinary training or apprenticeship preferred, but not required-we develop talent in the field.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Top Secret Perks:
  • Room and dining discounts at Marcus Hotels & Resorts
  • "Two-for-one" movie passes at Marcus Theatres
  • Paid time off (full time associates) and early wage access
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days (full time associates)
  • Company-paid life insurance and 401k with employer match
  • Career advancement and transfer opportunities within Marcus properties
  • Join a fun, dynamic team with a shared mission of excellence (and maybe the occasional spy pun)

Job Type: Full Time and Part Time
Wage: $15-20 based on experience
