Second Chance Health Center is seeking a qualified and motivated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic team. This position is entirely remote, allowing counselors the flexibility to manage their schedules while delivering care. The outpatient setting enables us to address the varying needs of our patients and meet them where they are. Our organization is equipped with state-of-the-art telehealth technology, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for both providers and patients.

• Deliver psychotherapy services via telehealth, in-office appointments, or a blended approach, based on client preference and practitioner expertise.
• Conduct initial assessments, ongoing evaluations, and individual therapy sessions while maintaining detailed and accurate electronic health records.
• Cultivate a caseload of 15-35 clients, focusing on increasing your numbers over time, aligned with our goal to enhance the quality of mental health care.
• Engage in regular clinical case review sessions to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery and patient care.
• Collaborate with a dedicated intake coordinator and billing specialist to optimize client flow and administrative tasks, allowing you to concentrate on clinical work.

Our practice serves a wide array of client demographics, including adults, children, adolescents, families, and military veterans. As a practitioner, you will have the freedom to specialize in specific age groups or clinical issues that resonate with your professional interests. This includes the opportunity to address mental health challenges specific to certain populations, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for veterans or developmental issues for children and teens.

• A Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active California LPCC license is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in counseling, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic methodologies.
• Proficient in navigating electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
• Strong communication skills, coupled with a commitment to best practices and ethical standards in mental health treatment.

• Demonstrated expertise in integrative wellness practices, enhancing the overall care provided to clients.
• Previous experience working in a remote setting, showcasing the ability to self-manage and remain accountable.
• Familiarity with specialty populations, thereby contributing to a richer, more inclusive therapeutic environment.
