Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality group and individual therapy using evidence-based modalities tailored to client needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and trauma-informed practices.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and document progress meticulously, including biopsychosocial evaluations, treatment planning, goal-setting, and discharge plans, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized aftercare plans that promote success and resilience post-therapy.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with clients’ families, outside therapists, and referring clinicians to ensure seamless continuity of care, particularly during transitions.
  • Adhere to all documentation and administrative responsibilities promptly, upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
  • An active and valid LMFT license issued by the State of California.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a medical or community health context.
  • Strong skills in communication, understanding confidentiality, and managing professional boundaries within therapeutic relationships.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience utilizing telehealth technologies for delivering therapy services effectively.
  • Proficiency in integrating trauma-informed care practices into therapeutic frameworks.
  • Background in working with diverse populations, including marginalized and underserved communities.
