This full-time position offers mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services to both adult and child family members who present for psychiatric evaluations. The essential functions of this role include:

• Designing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans for clients diagnosed with acute or chronic mental health conditions, incorporating input from multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Conducting individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions, ensuring that evidence-based practices and appropriate therapeutic modalities are utilized.
• Providing educational guidance to clients and their families about treatment plans and medications, facilitating understanding and adherence.
• Maintaining detailed and confidential client records, including ongoing treatment documentation and case summaries in compliance with state regulations and national quality standards.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to evaluate the need for medication and refer clients to additional services when necessary.
• Participating in team meetings to discuss treatment plans and outcomes, contributing insights based on client interactions.
• Supervising post-master’s fellows or associate clinicians as needed, provided the candidate has completed necessary supervision training.
• Offering crisis intervention and supportive services during times of acute need, ensuring that clients and their families have access to immediate resources.
• Notifying appropriate agencies of safety threats or risks, adhering to mandated reporting laws.

Our clientele includes a diverse mix of individuals from various backgrounds, including both adults and children experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavior disorders. The counselor will have the privilege of working closely with these clients and their families, providing them with the necessary tools and support to navigate their mental health journeys.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• A National Provider Identifier at the time of hire.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following qualifications will be prioritized:

• Experience in a clinical outpatient setting, particularly with individual and group therapy.
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention techniques and managing high-risk situations.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and related technologies used in remote therapy.
• A track record of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
