Job description

SEC Reporting Director

Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid) or Remote (U.S.)

Salary up to
$162,000 Base + 15% Bonus

We are working with a great client of ours to find their next SEC Reporting Director due to a retirement. The SEC Reporting Director will lead SEC reporting activities for a growing organization. This role is hybrid with 2 days onsite with flexibility to be remote.

Responsibilities of the SEC Reporting Director

  • Own the SEC reporting process, including 10-K and 10-Q filings
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements
  • Serve as a technical accounting resource for complex accounting matters
  • Review and enhance financial reporting processes
  • Mentor accounting team members and support leadership initiatives

Qualifications of the SEC Reporting Director

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of accounting experience
  • 5+ years of SEC reporting experience
  • Experience owning SEC filings and external reporting
  • Strong Excel and technical accounting skills
