About Us:
We manage an assortment of privately-owned Vacation Rental homes in the Northwest Indiana and Michiana area, the majority of which are located within Beachwalk Resort.
Job Summary:
Laundry attendants are responsible for preparing, cleaning, folding, organizing & sorting laundry brought in by our cleaning teams from the vacation rental properties. This includes sheets and bedding, towels, mopheads, cleaning rags and kitchen rags. Laundry attendants deal with high volumes of materials and are responsible for ensuring all are processed within an appropriate timeframe and ready to be returned to rental homes with quick turnover. Laundry attendants may also be responsible for additional cleaning, stocking, and supply management.
This position requires long periods of standing, twisting, turning, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting of laundry bags and other materials.
Hours for this position vary.
This is a seasonal position only. Our season runs from May to Mid-September. Employment length: 1-4 months.
Experience:
Laundry or housekeeping experience not required.
Some work experience required.
Ability to multitask and recognize priorities.
Ability to handle high volumes and meet turnaround deadlines.
Rate of Pay:
