Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
We have an opportunity to support a busy Testing Center that proctors exams for Chapman students with testing related accommodations (e.g., additional testing time or use of specific technology during exams).
Responsibilities
  • Proctor exam takers in both private and group settings
  • Take notice and report any irregularities to Lead Proctors and Testing Coordinator
  • Check-in students at the front desk and escort them to the correct testing rooms
  • Prepare necessary supplies for the following exam day
  • Deliver exams to the necessary office/professor
  • Any other responsibility approved and deemed appropriate by Testing Coordinator

Required Qualifications
  • Strong time management skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform in a timely and efficient manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact diplomatically with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels
  • Writing skills to prepare clear, concise & grammatically correct correspondence
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to work with other departments while maintaining a high level of confidentiality
  • An ethical commitment to the confidentiality of sensitive documents
  • Ability and diplomacy skills to consult with students and faculty regarding educational and security issues associated with testing
  • Attention to detail in a high-paced environment
  • Technical skills to learn and use enterprise systems required for this position
  • Sensitivity to working with students from diverse backgrounds and academic standing
