Job Description Summary:The Content Strategy Specialist is responsible for developing innovative, social-first content strategies that drive brand relevance, engagement, and business growth across digital platforms. This role blends trend forecasting, creative strategy, performance analysis, and content planning to ensure the brand consistently delivers culturally relevant, platform-native content that resonates with consumers.
Working cross-functionally with Social Media, Creative, Influencer Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Production teams, the Content Strategy Specialist transforms campaign objectives into compelling content ecosystems while identifying emerging opportunities within beauty, fashion, culture, and social media.Job Description:Content Strategy & Planning
  • Develop weekly, monthly, and campaign-based content concepts that align with brand priorities, seasonal initiatives, product launches, and social trends.
  • Partner closely with the Social Media Marketing Lead to translate campaign objectives into social-first content strategies and execution plans.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive content calendars that support platform-specific best practices, audience behavior, and business goals.
  • Recommend optimal content formats, posting cadence, and channel strategies across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
Trend & Cultural Insights
  • Continuously monitor beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and cultural trends to identify opportunities for timely, relevant content.
  • Research viral moments, creator trends, platform updates, and consumer behaviors to inform content strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for reactive, real-time, and trend-driven content that increases brand visibility and engagement.
  • Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes and evolving social media best practices.
Creative Development
  • Develop detailed creative briefs that clearly communicate strategic objectives, messaging, visual direction, and success metrics.
  • Create shot lists, mood boards, storyboards, and creator inspiration decks to guide internal creative teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Content Production, and Influencer teams to ensure content reflects current platform trends while maintaining brand consistency.
Performance & Optimization
  • Analyze social performance metrics to identify high-performing content themes, creative formats, and audience behaviors.
  • Use performance insights to continuously refine content strategies and recommend optimization opportunities.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry benchmarks to identify whitespace and innovation opportunities.
  • Present actionable recommendations based on content performance and emerging platform trends.
Innovation & AI Integration
  • Explore, evaluate, and implement AI tools that improve content ideation, planning, creative development, and production workflows.
  • Recommend new technologies, creative formats, and workflow efficiencies that enhance speed, quality, and scalability.
  • Champion experimentation with emerging content formats and platform features.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Social Media, Brand Marketing, Creative, Influencer Marketing, Product Marketing, and Production teams to ensure content strategies support broader marketing initiatives.
  • Provide strategic guidance throughout the content development process, from ideation through execution.
  • Ensure content maintains a consistent brand voice while adapting to the unique requirements of each platform.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in content strategy, social media strategy, or digital marketing, preferably within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industry.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms.
  • Proven ability to identify cultural trends and translate them into engaging, high-performing content strategies.
  • Experience developing creative briefs, mood boards, content calendars, and strategic presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting social media insights and performance data.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content creation and productivity tools.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for beauty, consumer trends, and digital storytelling.

The anticipated compensation range is

21.50 - 39.75 USD Hourly
