The Global Social team is responsible for bringing our brand to life for our Guests across the social ecosystem. We’re a team of storytellers – creatives, curators, and strategists – passionate about inspiring people to move, feel, and live fully. Reporting into the Creative Director, Global Social, you’ll help shape and execute social-first creative that elevates our brand across every platform.

a day in the life: what you’ll do creative
  • Translate the creative vision into compelling social-first concepts, campaigns and storytelling across global channels
  • Develop recurring content franchises, editorial formats and storytelling systems that build long-term audience engagement.
  • Contribute to creative briefs and content strategies in partnership with Brand Marketing, Social Strategy, Athlete Marketing, Product and cross-functional teams.
  • Conceptand execute creative across always-on content, campaign extensions, athlete storytelling, editorial series, product launches and cultural moments.
  • Help evolve the brand’s social expression by creating work that feels elevated, distinctive and platform-native.
  • Art direct and provide creative direction across photography, film, motion, design and creator content.
  • Partner closely with agencies, creators, photographers, filmmakers and production partners to deliver best-in-class social creative.
  • Use audience insights, cultural trends and platform performance to continuously refine creative ideas and execution.
  • Present creative work with confidence and clarity while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
planning & production
  • Partner with Production and Operations to deliver high-quality creative from concept through final execution.
  • Support seasonal content planning, editorial calendars and campaign launches while balancing always-on storytelling with timely cultural opportunities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and with exceptional creative quality.
  • Contribute to production planning, creative resourcing and workflow improvements that enable the team to do its best work.
  • Foster a collaborative, curious and creatively ambitious team environment.
  • Provide thoughtful feedback that elevates the work while encouraging experimentation and new ideas.
  • Partner closely with Brand Creative, Social Strategy, Marketing, Athlete Marketing and Production to deliver integrated creative solutions.
  • Champion an editorial mindset that values originality, strong craft and meaningful storytelling over trend replication.

  • Exceptional conceptual thinker with a refined creative point of view.
  • Strongeditorial sensibility with a passion for fashion, design, photography, film, culture and visual storytelling.
  • Expert in art direction across photography, motion, film, design and digital content.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging social platforms, with the ability to create work that feels native to each.
  • Ability to balance brand consistency with platform-native creative expression.
  • Strong understanding of audience insights and social performance, using data to strengthen creative decisions.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and storytelling skills.
  • Collaborative by nature, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and functions.
  • Experience directing agencies, creators, photographers, filmmakers and production partners.
  • Strong typography, layout, visual storytelling and design craft.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with strong hands-on design and execution capabilities.
  • Advanced project management and organizational skills.
  • Curious about emerging creative technologies and evolving cultural trends.
experience
  • 5 -7 years of experience in social, editorial, digital or integrated creative.
  • Experience within fashion, editorial, luxury, lifestyle, media or design-led brands or agencies strongly preferred.
  • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional taste, conceptual thinking and platform-native storytelling.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary creative teams and agency partners.
  • BA/BFA in Design, Fine Arts, Communications or a related creative discipline preferred.

compensation and benefits package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $112,000 – $147,000 USD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
