Job description

Seasonal Remote Customer Service Representative

Pearl Interactive Network is sourcing Seasonal Remote Customer Service Representatives. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional support to members and potential members during the open enrollment period. This role ensures callers receive accurate information about dental insurance plans, coverage options, eligibility, and enrollment procedures. The CSR will handle a high volume of inbound calls, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and deliver a positive customer experience while adhering to company policies and compliance requirements.

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr

Operating Hours: 5 am - 9 pm PST, Monday - Friday

Training Schedule: 7 am - 3:45 pm PST Monday - Friday - No time off will be permitted during the first 8 weeks.

Technical, Equipment, and Work-from-Home Requirements:

  1. Broadband internet connection with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps. No Satellite Connections. Test your network at speed.cloudflare.com to verify before you apply.
  2. Ethernet cable access. Wi-Fi-only connectivity is prohibited.
  3. Private and secure workspace within your home. Away from noise and distractions.
  4. Computer equipment, monitor, and headset are provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize standard technology such as telephones, email, and web browsers to assist callers effectively.
  • Assist callers with completing online applications and submitting them electronically to the plan provider for processing.
  • Navigate pre-scripted responses, read them verbatim to provide basic and claims-specific information, and ensure callers receive accurate details.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • H.S. Diploma
  • 6 months of customer service experience
  • Enrollment experience preferred
  • Dental experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
