How much do seasonal relocation accounting jobs pay per hour?

As of Jul 3, 2026, the average hourly pay for seasonal relocation accounting in the United States is $22.08, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $18.75 and $24.52 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

AspectSeasonal Relocation AccountingRelocation Specialist
CredentialsAccounting certifications, such as CPACustomer service or relocation certifications
Work EnvironmentOffice-based, financial departmentsFieldwork, client interactions
Employer & IndustryCorporate finance, relocation companiesRelocation service providers, HR departments

Seasonal Relocation Accounting focuses on managing financial records and budgets related to employee relocations, requiring accounting expertise. In contrast, a Relocation Specialist handles client interactions and logistics. While both roles support relocation processes, their core responsibilities and skill sets differ significantly.

Can you make $100,000 as an accountant?

Seasonal relocation accountants can potentially earn $100,000 or more annually, especially with experience, certifications like CPA, and in high-demand industries. However, earnings vary based on location, workload, and level of expertise, and seasonal roles may have different compensation structures compared to full-time positions.

Can you make $500,000 a year as an accountant?

Seasonal Relocation Accountants typically earn salaries based on experience, location, and workload, with most earning well below $500,000 annually. High earnings are possible for senior or specialized accountants working in large firms or with extensive experience, but reaching $500,000 per year is uncommon in this role. Achieving such income often requires additional bonuses, consulting work, or executive-level positions.

Will AI replace accountants by 2050?

Seasonal Relocation Accountants, like other accounting professionals, will likely see AI automate routine tasks such as data entry and basic reconciliation by 2050. However, complex analysis, strategic decision-making, and client communication will still require human expertise, making full replacement unlikely. Adaptation to new tools and certifications in AI and data analysis will be important for future job security.

What jobs can I transition to from accounting?

Individuals with experience in seasonal relocation accounting can transition to roles such as financial analyst, auditor, or tax specialist, which require strong analytical and financial skills. They can also move into management positions or roles involving budgeting, compliance, and financial reporting, often utilizing accounting software and certifications like CPA or CMA to enhance their prospects.
