Job description

Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for the thorough cleaning, upkeep, and turnover of Ranch cabins, guest houses, and related facilities to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for hunters, guests, and employees. Daily duties include detailed housekeeping, restocking cabin supplies, laundering bedding and linens, and addressing the unique challenges of maintaining remote mountain facilities — including the routine presence of mice, rodents, and other mountain wildlife commonly encountered in the Ranch’s cabin environments. General support for Ranch operations, hunting programs, and guest services is a secondary function of the role. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, flexibility, and comfort working in a rural mountain setting with exposure to wildlife and variable weather conditions.

Essential Functions:

Clean, maintain, and prepare Ranch cabins, guest houses, and associated facilities to a high standard including restocking individual cabin amenities (toiletries, paper goods, beverages, and other guest supplies) as part of each cabin turnover.
Maintain inventories of supplies, equipment, food, and amenities for cabins and hunting operations.
Assist with the preparation, support, and cleanup of hunting activities, including ensuring facilities and equipment are ready for guests, including washing of bedding and linen.
Provide hospitality support for hunters, guests, vendors, and company visitors.
Assist with setup and cleanup of company meetings and special events as a secondary function to primary cabin housekeeping duties.
Operate Ranch vehicles and transport supplies, bedding/linen or equipment as needed.
Perform general support duties for the Special Services Department and other Ranch Operations departments as assigned.
Assist with other duties necessary to ensure the successful operation of the Ranch's hunting, hospitality, and special events programs.
Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns observed in cabins, guest houses, or Ranch facilities to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
Inspect cabins and guest houses for signs of rodent or wildlife intrusion (including mice, squirrels, and other mountain animals); clean and sanitize affected areas; report findings to the appropriate supervisor promptly; and assist with response measures in accordance with Ranch pest management protocols.
Maintain accurate lost-and-found records for items left by guests; retain found items in a secure designated location and follow Ranch protocols for return or disposition.
Assist with food and beverage setup, staging, and service in support of hunting programs and Ranch events, in compliance with applicable food safety requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products.
Knowledge of housekeeping standards and procedures.
Detail and quality oriented.
Cooperation and willingness to accept multiple tasks and directives while maintaining a flexible schedule as required.
Able to understand and follow detailed instructions.
Strong customer service and hospitality skills.
Ability to organize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic inventory management skills.
Comfort with and ability to address the presence of mice, rodents, insects, and other wildlife commonly found in mountain and ranch cabin environments.
Professional demeanor when interacting with executives, hunters, and guests.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and seasonal hunting schedules.
