Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

This role accelerates business value by bagging and/or stacking ice on pallets.

Demonstrates our "True North" attributes: voice of the customer, respect for the individual, no nonsense communication and utilization of facts, servant leadership and has a continuous improvement mindset in every facet of leadership and daily interaction. Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.

Salary - $16/hr - $17/hr

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Stack a variety of products, ranging from 5lb to 40lb bags onto standard pallets, must be done neat and square. Help monitor product quality including; bags not properly tied, foreign objects, yellow ice and any deviation from standards. Learn to start and stop the line when needed. Keep the area safe and report potential hazards to supervisor. Clean immediate work area and entire facility according to the Master Cleaning Schedule. Make and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management. Adhering to the Code of Business Ethics is essential. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Must have High School diploma or GED with the ability to count numbers, use of basic math and complete simple

paperwork.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift and stack up to 45lbs throughout 12-hour shift. Must be able to work in room with temperatures of

45 - 60 degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The

employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is

occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
