Job description

Role Overview:
This role serves as the subject matter expert for Oracle Taleo, focusing on its Recruiting, Onboarding, and Reporting modules. The specialist will lead system design and configuration to support retail-specific hiring workflows, including seasonal and hourly needs, and partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and IT leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Taleo across Recruiting, Onboarding, and Reporting modules.
  • Lead system design and configuration efforts to support retail-specific hiring workflows, including seasonal and hourly workforce needs.
  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and IT leadership to align Taleo capabilities with business goals.
  • Architect and maintain complex TCC scripts for data exchange between Taleo and enterprise systems (HRIS, payroll, background screening, etc.).
  • Ensure robust error handling, logging, and performance optimization for high-volume data transfers.
  • Oversee integration lifecycle including testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Design and implement scalable recruiting workflows tailored to retail operations, including store-level requisition management and candidate pipelines.
  • Enhance onboarding processes to support distributed locations, ensuring compliance and timely task completion.
  • Provide guidance on Taleo configuration best practices and system governance.
  • Develop and maintain Taleo reports and dashboards using OBIEE, BI Publisher, or embedded tools.
  • Ensure reporting meets compliance standards and supports audit readiness.
  • Lead system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with Oracle support as needed.
  • Maintain system documentation, integration maps, and user guides.
