Job description

Our client, based in Knoxville, TN, is undergoing a large-scale Oracle implementation and is seeking an Oracle People & Culture (P&C) Functional Lead to guide the design and deployment of Oracle HCM Cloud and Payroll modules across multiple countries. This role will focus on aligning global HR operations while ensuring compliance with local requirements. It is a full-time, on-site position located in Knoxville, TN.

COMP: $140K - $180K based on candidate’s experience

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Design and lead the end-to-end delivery of Oracle HCM modules—including Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, Talent, and Learning—ensuring cohesive integration and alignment across all functional areas.
  • Partner with global HR teams to translate business requirements into functional designs.
  • Ensure payroll solutions are compliant, scalable, and integrated with ERP and other systems.
  • Lead workshops, blueprint sessions, and functional design reviews with business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on testing, training, and change adoption to ensure successful implementation and user engagement.
  • Act as a functional authority and trusted advisor for HR systems throughout the program lifecycle.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 8+ years of hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud functional experience, including Payroll and multiple other modules.
  • Proven leadership in multi-country Oracle HCM implementations, preferably across the US, UK, and Central Europe.
  • Experience supporting large hourly workforces in industries like cinema, retail, or hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of global HR processes and local statutory and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to lead cross-functional teams across regions.
