The Role

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting, processing, and folding Rooms and F&B linens such as sheets, towels, table clothes, and napkins. Candidate is preferred to have previous experience in a luxury, fast paced environment.

Job Functions

  • Sort out linen, counts linen, bundles the linen and have it ready for the linen company to pick it up.
  • Brings clean linen to Housekeeping area and from there to stock the storage rooms with it.
  • Collect and transport soiled linen/terry from storage rooms to the sorting area, including pushing and pulling loaded linen carts.
  • Keep the chute area, sorting areas, and laundry carts clean and neat at all times.
  • Helps in washing of linen and drying, if necessary.
  • Helps in folding of linen, if necessary.
  • Safely lift and carry linen bundles, carts, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.

Hourly Rate:

First 9 months: 80% of contract rate - $25.52/hr

Next 9 months: 90% of contract rate - $28.71/hr

After completion of 18th month, contract rate - $31.90/hr
