Job description

Summary:
Elberta Valley Ag is seeking Seasonal Laborers to assist in the day-to-day operational duties which may include operating heavy machinery and general maintenance.
Responsibilities:
  • Upkeep ranch appearance by repairing farm buildings, fences, and other structures.
  • Operate farm and heavy equipment such as loaders, harvesters, tractors, skid loader, and trucks.
  • Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment.
  • Properly and safely care for animals.
  • Daily work may include independent tasks and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus.
  • Familiar with irrigation processes.
  • General knowledge of construction tool use preferred.
  • Strong demonstrated communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. Spanish language ability desired.
  • Must be able to work outside in year-round weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 75 pounds.
