Location: Patchogue, NY (11772)
Employment Type: Part-Time; 8 hours/week guaranteed
Schedule: Tuesdays and Fridays, 4 hours/day

Our household is seeking a trusted and consistent Housekeeper and Household Assistant to help maintain a well-organized, welcoming home environment. Our household is made up of two busy professionals with demanding careers and frequent travel needs, making reliable support an important part of keeping daily routines running smoothly.
We value professionalism, trust, attention to detail, and someone who takes pride in creating an orderly and comfortable home. Our home is thoughtfully maintained, and we are looking for someone who can become a dependable presence, helping with the details that make our household feel calm and well cared for.
We have a friendly, large dog who is an important part of the family. The ideal candidate will enjoy being around an energetic German Shepherd puppy and being part of a warm, respectful home environment while maintaining discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
  • Provide weekly cleaning support throughout the home, including bathrooms, toilets, vacuuming, and mopping
  • Assist with occasional deep cleaning projects such as refrigerators, ovens, and other household areas
  • Support periodic organization projects, including pantry and closet refreshes
Household Organization & Maintenance
  • Maintain household organization systems and help keep spaces tidy, functional, and welcoming
  • Assist with seasonal organization projects, including clothing, décor, and bedding swaps
  • Help prepare the home for events, holidays, and guest visits
  • Assist with changing light bulbs, replacing batteries, and restocking supplies
  • Provide indoor plant care as needed
Inventory & Errands
  • Restock pantry, refrigerator, and household supplies
  • Put away household deliveries, including grocery and online orders when needed
  • Help maintain household supply lists and identify items that need replenishing
  • Assist with occasional errands such as returns and dry cleaning
Laundry & Linen Care
  • Manage household laundry, including washing, folding, organizing, and putting away clothing and linens
  • Maintain linen organization and rotate bedding and towels
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and well stocked
Pet Care
  • Provide occasional support with pet care, including feeding and walking the dog
  • Occasional pet sitting is a plus but not required
