Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is seeking a Sales Activation Associate, N. KY/Cincinnati (SAA). This role is entry-level, hands-on role focused on supporting activation execution, learning the market, and building foundational sales and brand knowledge. This role works closely with Sales Activation and Regional team members to assist with in-market activity, brand standards execution, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Activation & Execution Support:
    • Support the Sales Activation team with planning and execution of activations, marketing programs/promotions, and account initiatives through accurate execution at customer locations.
    • Assist with setting up, breaking down, and executing activation events in alignment with brand standards.
    • Ensure promotional material, displays, and sampling tools are properly used and maintained.
    • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours when required, including evenings and weekends.
  • Market Development & Learning:
    • Build foundational knowledge of brand portfolios product attributes and selling points through
    • Actively learn assigned markets, including key account types, local customer dynamics, and basic competitive landscape.
    • Gain experience in the market to recommend improvements to enhance activation effectiveness.
    • Observe and learn best practices from Sales Activation team members during in-market work.
  • Customer Interaction:
    • Represent the brand professionally at events and customer locations.
    • Engage consumers and customers to create positive brand experiences and drive trial.
    • Collect feedback from customers and share insights with the activation team
  • Program & Team Support:
    • Assist with tracking activation activity through Horizon, materials usage, and basic reporting where required.
    • Track and report activation results, including progress toward market goals and KPIs
Qualifications
  • Education or equivalent experience: College degree preferred but not required; 1 year of experience preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Technical Savvy: Computer literate and functional in Microsoft Office
  • Objective oriented: focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision
  • A team player : able to work in an intense, fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills: to develop key customer and staff relationships
  • Strong communication skills: ability to make compelling presentations
  • Mobility: A valid driver's license and ability to travel within an assigned territory is required
  • Location: Live in or near Cincinnati, OH or Northen KY
  • Compliance: Required to obtain a solicitor's permit where necessary
