Job description

QuantCo is offering up to seven travel scholarships for students at German universities to attend the 2026 German American Conference (GAC) presented by students at Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
As part of the travel scholarship, QuantCo will cover:
  • Round-trip flights (up to 750 EUR);
  • 4-night hotel stay from October 8, 2026, through October 12, 2026.

In addition to the covered travel expenses above, scholarship recipients will be invited to an exclusive side program curated by QuantCo, featuring high-level speakers, faculty from Harvard and MIT, exclusive dinners, and in-depth discussions. This program is exclusively available to scholarship recipients.

In order to be eligible for a travel scholarship, you must:
  • Be enrolled at a German university, including students currently in an exchange semester at a non-German university. We accept any degree program and any academic year (i.e., first-year to graduate level). In exceptional cases, we will accept applications from German citizens enrolled at a university outside of Germany.
  • Be in the top 5% of your program (or Abitur grade in the top 5% for first-year students), as demonstrated by grades/transcripts or scholarships/awards.
  • Obtain the proper visa or travel authorization to the US (e.g., ESTA, if applicable). Please see the US State Department's Travel website for more information.
  • Have or obtain international travel health insurance coverage.
  • Agree to inform QuantCo by August 31, 2026, if you decide not to attend the GAC (so that we can award your travel scholarship to a runner-up).
  • Optional: Give QuantCo consent to store your resume.
To apply, submit your application with a 1-page resume and transcripts, if available, by July 20th, 2026.

QuantCo and the GAC
The 2026 German American Conference offers a compelling opportunity for attendees to connect with leaders from both sides of the Atlantic. QuantCo can attest to the GAC’s impact, as many of our current and former colleagues have been speakers or organizers. As such, we want to help strengthen and foster more transatlantic relationships by bringing German students to the Conference.

If you have any questions about the scholarship, please reach out to travel-scholarship@quantco.com.
