Pay Range: $17.74 - $20.47 per hour

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Cook is responsible for the preparation of food according to planned menu. They must always demonstrate adherence to food storage guidelines. The Cook is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School diploma
  • Experience in high production food service

Preferred:

  • 3-5 years grill/high volume experience

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Variable shifts such as 5:30am-2:00pm, 6:30am-3:00pm, and 9:30am-6:00pm
  • Rotating weekends and holidays
  • Full Time

Essential Functions:

  • Follows all recipes to conform with dietary restrictions
  • Follows correct procedure for handling raw / cooked products according to sanitary guidelines
  • Follows dress code policy for department
  • Follows sanitary guidelines for personal hygiene
  • Maintains proper production schedule to ensure food is ready in a timely manner
  • Performs sanitation duties as assigned
  • Prepares food according to planned menu
  • Properly stores all prepared foods utilizing the FIFO system at all times
