In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, and in 2010 developed Luna Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement industry. CAI is part of the Zamperla Group, which is the worldwide leader in the manufacturing of amusement rides.
Join the Food and Beverage team at Luna Park In Coney Island. The Food & Beverage Supervisor's role will be to manage all areas of operation and act as a brand representative by reinforcing the company goals, visions, and mission statement while ensuring CAI standards of quality and service are being maintained. The candidates who fill this role will be responsible for providing leadership to team members, managing inventory, maintaining operational standards, and administrative duties.

Job Description:
  • Train team members in food and beverage operations.
  • Assign duties and compile the roster for staff working at various outlets within the amusement park.
  • Ensure the accuracy of payroll records and other administrative tasks specific to amusement park operations.
  • Investigate, address, and resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain the ability to multitask and adapt to the dynamic environment in faced-paced amusement park food venues.
  • Exercise good judgment and effective decision-making in fast-paced situations.
  • Assisting with the staffing levels according to the demands of the amusement park, always ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Plan accordingly and communicate hiring needs to HR in alignment with amusement park schedules and events.
  • Coach staff on amusement park-specific procedures and maintain high standards of service.
  • Assist with implementing strategies to elevate food and beverage sales while enhancing the guest experience at the amusement park.
  • Maintain a high level of sanitation and food preparation
  • Be a champion of safety, stability and structure

Requirements
  • Experience supervising a team of 10 or more.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
  • NYC DOH Food Handler's License Required.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with guests and create a positive, memorable experience.
  • Availability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with managers, and kitchen and dining area team members.
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods.
  • Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) and office skills preferred.
