Job description

PURPOSE
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing custodial, maintenance, and safety support for assigned facilities. This role ensures buildings, grounds, and equipment are clean, safe, functional, and well maintained.
LOCATION SUPPORT:
The Senior Maintenance Technician will provide maintenance and custodial support for both the Cramer and Billingsley locations and will travel between locations as required to meet operational needs.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (ALL EMPLOYEES)

Adhere to all company, departmental, and safety policies and procedures

SPECIFIC DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES
Custodial amp; Sanitation
Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms, common areas, offices, kitchens, lobbies, and entryways
Empty trash, replace liners, and maintain cleanliness throughout the day
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, countertops, chair armrests, shared supplies, and front desk areas
Respond promptly to spills and bodily fluid cleanup following safety protocols
Restock restroom, kitchen, and safety supplies daily and as needed
Maintain accurate cleaning logs per established schedule
Maintenance amp; Facilities
Perform routine and minor repairs including door hardware, running toilets, drywall patching, and interior painting
Clean windows, remove cobwebs, debris, and pests according to schedule
Move furniture, materials, and equipment and set up spaces for special events
Maintain custodial closets, tool rooms, and storage areas, including MSDS documentation and safety binders
Monitor supply inventory and communicate restocking needs
Grounds, Safety amp; Seasonal Duties
Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, entrances, and parking areas; apply salt or ice melt as needed to maintain safe conditions
Sweep, shovel, and maintain exterior walkways daily as required
Conduct monthly building and fire safety inspections and complete required documentation
Maintain stocked and accessible first aid and safety supplies
Understand and follow building-specific emergency and evacuation procedures and communicate expectations to visitors
Equipment, Toys amp; Play Areas
Repair and maintain outdoor play equipment and ensure proper daily storage
Sanitize indoor and outdoor toys and play equipment at least weekly
Vendors amp; Operations
Meet and coordinate with delivery personnel and vendors
Assist with oversight of HVAC, janitorial, plumbing, and related service providers
Purchase approved supplies and manage assigned budget responsibly
Accurately record work hours in company timekeeping systems
