Job description

Position Title: Seasonal Data Trace Clerk

Reports to: Senior Manager of Quality Control

Department: Quality Control

Classification: Seasonal, Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Pay: $19.75 – $20.50 an hour

The Seasonal Data Trace Clerk will be expected to work at least 6 days a week during our Fresh-Pack Season from mid-July to late September. Our Cannery runs 24/7 so flexibility to work any shift (Days, Swing or Graveyard) is required.

This position will be primarily responsible for:

  • Programing probes with correct information from processing lines and set their designated processing line.
  • Retrieving cans from designated cooler area.
  • Reading probes and distributing probe data to designated areas. Alerting upper management when data falls out of compliance.
  • Setting up or breaking down spray data trace cans.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Communicate, read and write effectively.
  • Flexibility with your scheduled hours of work.
  • Basic computer skills (specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and within the team.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 50% or more sitting, 25% or less walking, and 50% or more standing. The job is performed under occasional temperature variations and in an office environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 45 lbs. is required.
