JOB TITLE: Breakfast Line Cook
REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager
LOCATION: Solitude Mountain Resort
CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/ Seasonal/ Hourly
POSITION:
St. Bernard’s Restaurant at Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a dependable and motivated Breakfast Line Cook to join our seasonal culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing and executing breakfast service while maintaining high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and consistency.
The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced kitchen, communicates effectively with the culinary team, and takes pride in preparing quality food for our guests.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare and cook breakfast menu items according to recipes and established standards.
  • Set up and stock the breakfast line and prep stations before service.
  • Maintain consistent food quality, portioning, presentation, and timing.
  • Work efficiently during busy breakfast service while maintaining a clean and organized station.
  • Communicate clearly with chefs and other kitchen staff regarding orders, timing, and product needs.
  • Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
  • Maintain adequate product levels throughout service and communicate when additional prep is needed.
  • Assist with daily kitchen preparation, cleaning, organization, and closing duties.
  • Properly store and label food products according to kitchen standards.
  • Support the culinary team with other duties as needed.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous line cook or breakfast cooking experience preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
  • Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry kitchen supplies as required.
  • Food-handler certification preferred or willingness to obtain one.
