Job description

The Suffolk University Law School Office of Admissions is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Seasonal Recruiterto assist with fall recruitment efforts. The Seasonal Recruiter will serve as an ambassador for Suffolk University Law School at law school recruitment events across the country and will playan important rolein engaging prospective students and positively representing the law school.

Key Responsibilities

The Seasonal Recruiter will:

  • Attend law school fairs, forums, and other recruitment events across the country.

  • RepresentSuffolk UniversityLaw School in a positive, professional, and enthusiastic manner.

  • Answer prospective students' questions aboutSuffolk UniversityLaw School, the admissions process, the student experience, and life in Boston.

  • Distribute admissions materials and other recruitment information.

  • Research and identify appropriate travel arrangements for assigned recruiting events.

  • Maintain organized records and notes regarding recruitment trips and interactions with prospective students.

  • Collect prospective student contact information.

  • Provide thoughtful assessments and feedback following recruiting events to assist the Office of Admissions in planning future recruitment efforts.

  • Complete other recruitment-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates must:

  • Be aSuffolk UniversityLaw Schoolalum.

  • Have graduated fromSuffolk UniversityLaw School ingood academic and disciplinary standing.

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Be organized,detail-oriented, professional, outgoing, and efficient.

  • Demonstratea strong desireto positively representSuffolk UniversityLaw School.

  • Possess avalid driver's license.

  • Possess amajor credit cardfor approved travel-related arrangements and expenses.

Schedule and Time Off

This is a temporary position running fromSeptember through November 2026. Because recruitment events will take place throughout the fall andwillrequire travel, scheduling will vary based on the recruitment calendar and assigned events.Days off will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Compensation and Travel

The Seasonal Recruiter willbe compensatedon aper diem basis. All approved travel expenses incurred in connection with work-related recruiting activities willbe reimbursedin accordance withSuffolk UniversityLaw School procedures.

Cover Letter Requirement

Interested candidates should submit a cover letter explaining their interest in serving as a Seasonal Recruiter, their connectionto Suffolk UniversityLaw School, and how their experience and skills would contribute to the Office of Admissions' fall recruitment efforts.

The salary range for this role is $18.00 - $25.00/hour.Salary Transparency
