Media Advisor (Sales) - Print, Digital & Marketing Solutions
The Apopka Chief
About MARC Media
MARC Media Group is a privately held, growing media company focused on helping local businesses connect with their communities through radio, digital, print, and integrated marketing solutions. We are a values-driven organization committed to serving our employees, clients, and communities well.
This is not a typical sales job.
If you're looking for a steady paycheck and a quiet desk... this isn't it.
If you're competitive, driven, and want to build a book of business that pays you long-term, keep reading.
MARC Media is growing, and we're looking for experienced sales professionals who want to help local businesses grow while building a high-income career.
What You'll Be Selling
You won't be limited to one product.
You'll provide real marketing solutions to local businesses, including:
  • Print + digital news platforms
  • Digital marketing (streaming, social, SEO, display, targeted ads)
  • Radio advertising across our stations
  • Fully integrated campaigns designed to deliver ROI
You're not selling ads. You're helping business owners grow.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Prospecting daily (in-person, phone, networking, referrals)
  • Building relationships with local business owners and decision-makers
  • Creating customized marketing strategies based on client needs
  • Presenting and closing new business
  • Growing and maintaining a long-term book of clients
  • Tracking activity and pipeline in CRM
Income & Compensation
Experienced Sellers
  • $60,000 - $150,000+ annual earning potential
  • Guaranteed $5,000/month base salary (with sales targets to achieve) during ramp-up period for experienced sellers, up to 12 months
  • Uncapped straight commission following
  • No cap on income
Entry Level Sellers
  • $40,000-$150,000+ annual earning potential
  • Base + Commission structure available
  • Transition to uncapped straight commission once commissions exceed base salary
  • No cap on income
If you can produce, you can earn!
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of sales experience (required)
(Media sales is a plus, but not required)
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Confidence, resilience, and ability to handle rejection
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to think strategically and solve business problems
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own pipeline
  • Interest in marketing, advertising, and helping businesses grow
Who This Role Is For
  • Someone who wants control over their income
  • Someone who enjoys meeting new people and building relationships
  • Someone who sees sales as a long-term career, not a short-term job
  • Someone who is coachable, competitive, and driven
Who This Role Is NOT For
  • Someone waiting for leads to be handed to them
  • Someone who wants a fixed salary without performance expectations
  • Someone uncomfortable with prospecting or rejection
Why MARC Media
  • Locally owned and growing media company
  • Multiple platforms = bigger deals and better solutions
  • Strong presence in each local market we serve
  • A team culture focused on growth, accountability, and results
Benefits & Perks
  • Health, Dental, Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off & holidays
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Employee pricing on new & used vehicles + service (for you and your family, including in-laws)

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
  • Monday-Friday schedule (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
