Growth Marketing Manager

Build Demand. Strengthen an Iconic Brand. Shape the Future with AI.

At Leatherman, we build tools that help people take on the expected—and the unexpected. For more than 40 years, we've earned the trust of makers, tradespeople, outdoor enthusiasts, first responders, and everyday problem-solvers around the world.

Now we're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to help lead the next chapter of our growth.

This is not a traditional marketing role.

We're seeking a strategic, data-driven leader who can balance brand building with demand generation, leverage emerging technologies, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver measurable business results.

If you're energized by growing brands, building teams, using AI to unlock new opportunities, and turning marketing insights into business impact, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As Leatherman's Growth Marketing Manager, you'll lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of demand generation and brand-building initiatives across key paid, owned, and earned channels.

You'll own the Growth Marketing function and help drive the volume, quality, efficiency, and intent of demand entering the business while strengthening Leatherman's position as the most useful brand in the world.

Lead Growth & Demand Generation

  • Develop and execute multi-channel growth marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and long-term brand growth
  • Own demand generation across social media, performance media, SEO/SEM, affiliate marketing, influencer programs, and emerging channels
  • Balance short-term performance goals with long-term brand-building initiatives
  • Identify new opportunities to expand reach, strengthen relevance, and accelerate growth

Champion AI & Innovation

  • Lead an AI-forward marketing strategy that leverages automation, personalization, predictive analytics, and emerging technologies
  • Evaluate, test, and operationalize AI-powered marketing tools that improve efficiency, targeting, and customer experiences
  • Drive experimentation and innovation to create competitive advantage and measurable business impact
  • Stay ahead of marketing, technology, and consumer trends

Lead High-Impact Campaigns

  • Partner with Product, Brand, Sales, and Content teams to develop integrated go-to-market strategies and product launch plans
  • Ensure marketing efforts are aligned with customer needs, business objectives, and brand standards
  • Optimize campaign performance through data, testing, and continuous improvement

Build & Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Growth Marketing Team
  • Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Help team members grow professionally while delivering exceptional business results

Measure What Matters

  • Own marketing performance reporting and growth KPIs
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness, ROI, customer acquisition, and brand health metrics
  • Use data and insights to inform strategy, improve efficiency, and drive better business outcomes

What Makes You Successful

You're a strategic thinker, builder, coach, and innovator.

You thrive when you:

  • Connect marketing strategy to business outcomes
  • Turn insights into action
  • Balance creativity with analytics
  • Lead through change and ambiguity
  • Develop people and build strong teams
  • Embrace new technology and continuous learning
  • Take ownership and accountability for results

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, social media, digital marketing, or integrated marketing
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams or leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong expertise across growth channels including social media, paid media, SEO/SEM, influencer marketing, and performance marketing
  • Experience building and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisions and optimize performance
  • Ability to translate strategy into execution and deliver measurable results
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with consumer brands, retail, ecommerce, or direct-to-consumer businesses
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered marketing tools, automation platforms, and predictive analytics
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Passion for innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement
