When you join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Global Market Development Manager, you'll be part of a team making a positive impact on a global scale. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop and implement marketing strategies that will improve our Antibody portfolio's market presence and accelerate the purchasing journey for scientists worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans through product portfolio positioning, analysis of customer segments, and customer journey mapping
  • Strong focus on paid and organic digital strategy, including SEM, SEO, social media, email marketing, and website optimization
  • Build engaging content in various formats (email, social media, video, events, webinars) to boost brand awareness, consideration, and purchasing preference
  • Lead participation in key industry and company-organized conferences, webinars, and virtual events, showcasing Antibody products, services, and data
  • Collaborate with regional marketing to develop and implement marketing programs tailored to geographic regions
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate customer insights and market opportunities into data and content reinforcing value propositions
  • Manage marketing budget to align with the annual operating plan
  • Travel may be required (up to 25%)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Biology, Cell Biology, related life science category, or business/marketing specialization
  • Preferred experience with antibodies in previous scientific roles

Technical/Marketing Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in life science product marketing or related fields, with a focus on digital marketing; Understanding of research workflows and exposure to biotech, pharmaceutical, or academic markets strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in developing digital marketing initiatives, including content for webpages, display advertising, SEM/SEO, social media, video, and automation, with a strong understanding of online ordering and eCommerce
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing fundamentals: 4Ps, marketing mix, audience segmentation, product positioning, value propositions, and marketing program execution
  • Proven product commercialization experience with go-to-market strategy development and execution
  • Strong track record in organic digital marketing strategy and data-driven decision-making

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$137,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
