POSITION SUMMARY: Provides hands on resident care, proper and timely administration of medications and treatments, accurate verbal and written reports and rapid response to any/all emergency situations. Basic

competencies and knowledge of nursing: Resident Examination and Assessment (Head to Toe Assessment and

Admission Note and Daily Med A Note, Foley Catheter Insertion: Male or Female Resident, Winyah Medication

Administration Audit tool, Oxygen Administration, Dressings, Dry/Clean – Wound, Feeding Tube, and Feeding Tube

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Performs professional and restorative nursing services which include, but not limited to,
  • Keeps timely documentation of written reports and verbal reports ensuring that quality care is provided.
  • Interacts with the resident’s physician, pharmacist and medical personnel as needed.
  • Following the guidelines as outlined in the Resident Care Plan; assists residents with activities of
  • daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Assists with in‐service and on the job training and mentoring of Team Members.
  • Participates in and attends all required in‐service training and education programs as scheduled.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
  • Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with SEO best practices.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Fouryear college or university degree desired.
  • 12 years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. o Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
