Job description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist Project Manager to join our Greenville, SC office and support our growing Site Investigation and Remediation practice.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will have project management experience for a range of environmental projects, knowledge of hazardous materials, groundwater, soil, and soil vapor investigation & remediation. Preference will be for a candidate licensed for asbestos and lead-based paint consulting. A Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management and leadership for field staff and collaboration
  • Budget, coordinate and conduct groundwater, soil, and soil vapor investigations
  • Budget, coordinate and conduct inspections and abatement projects for asbestos, mold, lead-based paint
  • Assist with design, implementation, and optimization of remediation systems
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality environmental solutions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
  • Due diligence reporting and quality control

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geology, environmental science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of environmental consulting experience
  • Demonstrated experience with site investigation and remediation
  • Strong field skills and proficiency in groundwater and soil investigation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hazardous materials experience for asbestos, lead-based paint, mold
  • PG or PE license preferred (not required)
  • Ability to travel locally for field assignments and work outdoors as needed
