Joseph’s Classic Market Seafood Associates support a department known for cleanliness, knowledge, and premium products. By assisting customers and maintaining fresh, well-presented displays, this role helps customers feel confident about what they bring home.

Routine Tasks:

  • Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions
  • Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks
  • Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness
  • Package, label, and price self-service items accurately
  • Cut and prepare seafood products according to company standards
  • Clean and maintain scales, cutting areas, and prep stations
  • Operate department equipment including knives, steamers, and scales safely and efficiently
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Prior experience in seafood, grocery, or food service is strongly preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Strong attention to detail and visual presentation
  • Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude

Physical & Work Environment
