Job Description: Sales Development Representative
Supervisor: Director of Sales
 

Position Summary:

Do you have a passion for providing world-class service to customers, colleagues, and communities? AT&I’s greatest strength is our people, and we are looking for an ambitious, driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. As an SDR in a B2B sales role, the ideal candidate will play a vital role in identifying and generating new business opportunities. This position involves researching potential clients, engaging with decision-makers via calls, emails, and social media, and qualifying leads for the sales team. The SDRs will be promoting integrated security solutions, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and gate entry systems to businesses and organizations seeking enhanced security measures. Strong communication skills, technical understanding of security systems, and a results-driven approach are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Lead Generation & Prospecting – Identify potential clients and businesses that require security solutions, including access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
·         Outbound Outreach – Engage with prospects through calls, emails, and social media to introduce security integration services and qualify leads.
·         Lead Qualification – Assess potential customers' security needs and determine if they are a good fit for the company's solutions.
·         Appointment Setting – Schedule meetings or demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
·         Market Research – Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging security technologies.
·         CRM Management – Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads, and pipeline progress in the company's CRM system.
·         Collaboration with Sales & Marketing – Work closely with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and improve outreach strategies.
·         Performance Tracking – Monitor key metrics such as conversion rates, outreach effectiveness, and pipeline growth to optimize sales efforts.
Knowledge and Skills

·         High School diploma required; a 4-year degree or trade school certification is preferred.
·         1-3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles.
·         Experience in the security industry or technology sales is a plus.
·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with prospects effectively.
·         Ability to research and identify potential clients in the security integration space.
·         Familiarity with CRM software for managing leads and tracking outreach efforts.
·         Understanding of security solutions such as access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
·         Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
·         Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
