We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and a proven track record of successfully guiding teams through the development process. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement within the team.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate key Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives.
  • Ensure that the team follows Agile principles and practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and development team to prioritize and deliver high-quality software.
  • Identify and eliminate impediments or obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
  • Act as a servant leader to ensure the team has the necessary resources and support.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and implementing action plans based on feedback.
  • Promote a mindset of learning and adaptation within the team.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to the team on Agile and Scrum practices.
  • Foster a self-organizing and cross-functional team culture.
  • Track and report key Agile metrics to monitor team performance and delivery.
  • Utilize data to identify areas for improvement and guide decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience of related experience, including 2+ years of experience as Scrum Master in Agile Development
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master, Scale Agile Framework or related experience.

Preferred
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience in the dental/healthcare/retail industry.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum principles and practices.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring teams toward Agile maturity.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools and project management software.
