Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a part time Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, escalate complaints, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure. 

Hours
Tuesday and Thursday 8 am - 3 pm 
Responsibilities 
  • Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails
  • Identify the reason for the customer’s inquiry, collect relevant information, and provide solutions
  • Schedule service calls and dispatch field employees efficiently
  • Coordinate with technicians regarding job details, updates, and scheduling changes
  • Refer to prepared scripts for various customer service topics
  • Use best practices in customer service to build rapport and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Document all customer interactions accurately
  • Provide account information and resolve billing questions
  • Follow up on past-due accounts via phone and email
  • Enter and categorize financial data for internal profit & loss tracking
  • Assist with basic reporting and spreadsheet updates
  • Prepare and submit permit applications as needed
  • Assist with job setup and pre-construction administrative preparation
  • Manage material and product returns with vendors and suppliers
  • Attend trainings to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed
  • Work independently while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications
  • Prior customer service experience required
  • Experience with accounts receivable or collections preferred
